NAACP - Orange County, CA Chapter

President's Message

I've been overwhelmed by the generosity of those who have responded by joining the Orange County NAACP since the start of my term as president. Through greater membership our opportunity to make a positive difference grows to impact NAACP advocacy initiatives, outreach programs and litigation efforts. The continued focus of the Orange County NAACP is to lead in the efforts for social change. From the support of individuals irrespective of race, religion, political affiliation and ideology that are unyielding in our purpose to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens through democratic processes.

The Orange County NAACP provides guidance with regard to the protection and enhancement of the civil rights of African Americans and other minorities. We believe in networking with other groups that are share in the NAACP's mission and purpose. I look forward to developing both a Youth and College Division within Orange County to help our future leaders be stronger and more effective.

I encourage anyone interested in learning more about the NAACP to become involved by sharing their talents, interests and drive for the betterment for all.

Together, we must continue to work tirelessly to achieve full political empowerment for all.
